Ronnie brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Lawn & LeBlanc, providing clients with expert legal guidance tailored to their specific needs. His distinguished legal career is rooted in a solid educational foundation and broad experience. He earned his degree in Community Studies from Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida, before pursuing his Juris Doctor at Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles, California and was admitted to Southwestern University’s prestigious SCALE program—an accelerated curriculum focused on analytical reasoning, legal writing, substantive knowledge, and professional skills. During his time there, Ronnie interned with the California Court of Appeals for Justice Edwin Beach.
Ronnie furthered his legal education by obtaining a secondary advanced law degree, a Master of Laws in Taxation, from the College of William & Mary, Marshall-Wythe School of Law.
Throughout his career, Ronnie has gained extensive experience in both private practice, corporate in-house, and leadership roles. Mr. Lawn’s professional experience included private practice in the statewide South Carolina Dobson Law Firm, a 12-member tax-focused law firm. He served as General Counsel and Co-Senior Director of Wealth Management & Trusts at Bangor Savings Bank in Maine. From there Mr. Lawn joined the law firm of Collins Brown Barkett Garavaglia & Lawn, Chartered and served as a key equity shareholder and named partner at, before founding Lawn & LeBlanc.
Ronnie is admitted to practice before multiple state and federal courts, including the highest court in the nation, the U.S. Supreme Court. Additional court admissions include the United States District Court (South Carolina), the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
Ronnie’s commitment to the community is reflected in his past roles as President of the Indian River Estate Planning Council, Board Member of the Boys & Girls Clubs Foundation of Indian River County, Trustee of the Atlantic Challenge, Member of the Board of the Atlantic Classical Orchestra, Member of the Board of the Atlantic Challenge, Member of the VNA / Hospice Planned Giving Committee, Member of the Vero Beach Art Museum Advisory Board, and Board Member of the World Affairs Council in Maine.
