Deeba, known as Dee, joined Lawn & LeBlanc in May 2021, bringing with her 15 years of invaluable experience in Estate Planning and Estate Administration. As a Florida Registered Paralegal, Dee plays a vital role in supporting attorneys Ronald Keith Lawn and Stephanie M. LeBlanc in their practice.
Dee’s academic journey began at Cheryl Fells School of Business in Niagara Falls, New York, where she earned a Certificate in Paralegal/Legal Assisting. She later moved to Florida, obtaining an Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies and a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Indian River State College in Fort Pierce.
Dee launched her legal career as a legal assistant in Vero Beach, working in civil litigation, including medical malpractice and business law. While working full-time, she completed her paralegal studies in 2013 and soon after transitioned into a paralegal role at another local firm, where she assisted in real estate, litigation, and business law. She continued her education, earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice in 2017.
Born in Afghanistan and fluent in both Farsi and English, Dee moved to the United States in 1990, eventually settling in Niagara Falls, New York. She spent significant time in Toronto, Canada, before making Florida her permanent home in 2007 to be closer to her family.
Outside of work, Dee enjoys decorating her recently purchased home, drawing inspiration from HGTV. She is passionate about creating a warm and welcoming space that reflects her unique style.
